The earth bellowed below the village of rangitoto. The sound the never wanted to hear was with them and it filled the air.Smoke arises from the depths of the fiery hell. The ground rumbled in rage finally free from everlasting sleep. The gigantic monster spat fiery balls of molten rock shooting into the air to descend on the house made of punga. The only sound now was of the earth seizing the lives of many.lava poured out of the tip of the volcano destroying everything and anything in its path.Screaming muffled by the sound of the constant torment.the village was now a distant memory of the three girls louise fae and maree on the boat a couple of yards away. They drifted away the baby crying the girls hushing the baby as the island faded from memory the girls cried.Louise saw mum waving and before she turned around and let the lava plume over her. This is the story of tragedy.

Mfuwe elephants
Every year Mfuwe lodge in South Zambia gets its biggest guests, elephants. Located right on the ancient path of a local herd of elephants, Mfuwe lodge was unfortunately built on route to one of the best mango trees around. For years the elephants have had no care to change their course. So every year, Wonky Tusk, (she's an elephant with a wonky tusk) and her herd walk right through reception of the lodge. Then the herd go down the stairs into the garden and stop at the large mango tree before gorging themselves with the delicious fruit. After about three months the herd pick themselves up and stroll through the middle of the lodge again to continue on their journey. The lodge does a great job in ensuring that no-one gets too close to the elephants. This event brings more people to the spectacle.
